Day 110 - Boiler & Megaflo

 
Late addition of a radiator gets fitted in the storeroom - we'll have a snuggly indoor shed!

 
 

And the boiler and pressurised hot water system (aka the Megaflo) are all plumbed in.

Day 210 - Loft ladder

Another great suggestion from Shaun was, as we've replaced all the ceilings upstairs, we could have a new loft ladder and hatch. This would give us a nice hatch that fits snugly (no losing heat into the loft) but more importantly a better loft ladder that I could actually use on my own. The old one required some dexterity with a stick and longer arms and legs than I have.

This is the new ladder sitting in the kitchen waiting to be fitted - can't wait to see how it works.

 

Day 210 - Bathroom update

Day 210 - Doors arrive!

Day 202 - Ding Dong...

One of the things we thought about rather late in the build was a doorbell!

Thankfully Shaun and the guys were able to find a way to run a cable from the front door and into the central hall without mucking up any of Frank's lovely plastering

 

Day 202 - More Bathroom updates

And the tiles are down in the ensuite and the furniture has mostly been built, although we do have an extra cupboard that doesn't fit! The difference between plans and actual build!

Day 202 - Bathroom progress

After weeks of weekend searching for tiles we finally got some ordered and delivered! Which meant the bathroom fit could start...

 
 




Here the floor tiles are down in the main Bathroom,the furniture is being assembled and the sanitaryware is in position, though not yet fitted in place.
