Day 170 - Frank's back

And he's made it downstairs - here he is finishing off the stairwell...

Here's the hall/lounge wall - look how smooth and shiny it is!

Day 170 - Bad Plaster

We knew we had a lot of dodgy plaster all over the house, so one of the areas we've chosen to spend extra money is replastering all the rooms. This is the state of the existing plaster.

Unfortunately the surface is so bad the new plaster isn't taking very well so the guys have had to use a special mesh to hold the new plaster onto the walls

Day 168 - Upstairs plastering is nearly done

Now Frank's started on the lounge, a deceptively large room he says...

Day 161 - We have roof!

Finally the flat roof outside the Master bedroom french doors (above the lounge) is complete. This means we're water tight, finally.

Day 151 - Dining room

We had this mad idea to increase the size of the dining room doorway to let more light into the centre of the house - this is it, and, umm, it's big!

At some point we'll have some nice oak & glass doors to go in the giant gap.

The hole to re-route the water pipe round to the side of the house is now full of water.
